Can't upgrade from WinXP 64 to Vista 64. Only new full installation is offered. Is it beta2 feature or is something bad? The XP is new and clean installation without any programs.

At the moment there is no upgrade path like you described. Neither from vista x86 to x64. -- Try, learn, experience.
